My name is Alison Duncan and I am the WAHM (work at home Mom) behind Triscuits Attachment Parenting Store. I live in Belleville, Ontario with my partner, our amazing three year old tornado, and now our newest little snuggler who joined us January, 2009. We also found out that we're adding another sweet one to the mix in September, 2010!

Before Tobias was born I knew I wanted to have a carrier to be able to be hands free with my baby while I got things done. The only carriers I was familiar with were Baby Bjorns, Snugglis, and slings. I decided on a pouch sling bought on ebay, not knowing the importance of the right size nor how to properly size myself. When my baby arrived I found myself in pain rather quickly and grew discouraged.

When he was four months old I was introduced to The Baby Wearer (www.thebabywearer.com), a babywearing online community and a whole new world opened up to me. As my knowledge base and carrier collection grew I had more and more people asking me for help and for loaners. TAPS was originally a result of many requests to have carriers available locally for the residents in the Quinte region and surrounding area. We are growing to our online storefront to be able to help more people in their quest for comfortable carriers. Any person who has a child in their care can benefit from having their hands free and all babies can benefit from being worn. :)
